Statement of Faith

I. The LORD is God.

"I Am the LORD, and there is no other. I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said...'Seek Me in vain.' I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right." Isaiah 45:18-19 (NIV)

II. Jesus Christ is God's one and only Son.

"He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation. For by Him, all things were created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him." Colossians 1:15-16

III. Every human being needs redemption.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,..." Romans 3:23

"There is no one righteous, not even one;..." Romans 3:10

"For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23a

IV. God offers redemption through Jesus Christ alone.

"God presented Him [Jesus] as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His Blood." Romans 3:25

"He [Christ], did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once and for all by His own Blood, having obtained eternal redemption." Hebrews 9:12

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Romans 10:9

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

 V. The Word of God is right and true.

"For the Word of God is right and true; He is faithful in all He does."

Psalm 33:4

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16
